Cute Pictures of Cute Babies

Nothing new is going on - we are just trying to figure out life with these cute little babies.  They are so cute and such GREAT babies!  Here are some pictures from the last few days.  They are getting such chubby checks - I love chubby babies (not that they are chubby yet but we are working on it).

2 Weeks Old Today!

Kesley & Cameron - exhausted after visit to the doctor!

I can hardly believe it - my little babies are 2 weeks old today! I wanted to take some really cute pictures of them today but they were asleep and making silly faces. And then Kesley spit up / threw up all over her cute little outfit. Maybe we will have better luck tomorrow.

They had their 2 week check-up today. The doctor said they are PERFECT! I would have to agree but it is always nice to hear it from a doctor. My favorite part of these visits is getting to see how much they have grown. So, here are their stats:

Cameron
Weight:  8 lbs 14 oz (above 75%)
Length:  21 1/4" (90%)
Head Cirm:  36.6 cm (50%)

Kesley
Weight:  8 lbs 9 oz (above 90%)
Length:  21" (95%)
Head Cirm:  36 cm (75%)

For those keeping track, they have each gained almost ONE POUND more than their birth weight - which is fabulous since at 2 weeks, the doctor just hopes they are back to their birth weight (at birth, Cameron weighed 8 lbs and Kesley weighed 7 lbs 13 oz). All that eating (and let me tell you they both love to eat) is really paying off!  And if you are wondering why Kesley is in a higher percent for all stats even though Cameron is bigger in all ways, it is because she is compared to girls and Cameron is compared to boys.

Here are a few more pictures from the last few days. One of these days I will start scrapbooking again - but for now, just the pictures will have to do.

It's Official!

I changed her name!  Alexis Michelle is now
Kesley Michelle

I still love the name Alexis (and especially Lexi) - but it just didn't fit.  So, after days of it driving me crazy, I finally decided late last night to change it.  Today, I even got it changed on her birth certificate - so it really is official.  So, the twins names are (and will remain to be):

Cameron Thomas
and
Kesley Michelle

What a Difference a Week Makes!

Here I am, leaving for the hospital, ONE WEEK AGO today - I am HUGE!
And here are my sweet little babies ONE WEEK later!
Aren't they cute!  Lexi has chubbier cheeks but Cameron is bigger (even though she looks bigger in the picture).  I can't believe they are
ONE WEEK OLD
today!  They are such sweet babies.  I'm so glad they are here!

Introducing . . .

Alexis Michelle
and
Cameron Thomas

Alexis Michelle
and
Cameron Thomas

We did name them before we left the hospital late Monday afternoon but I just haven't been up to putting it on my blog.  Everyone is doing well and we are slowly figuring out life with these 2 cute little babies.  It is fun to watch the big boys with them - they sure do love them (okay - so Brecken just ignores them).  Anyway, now you know their names and have a few more cute pictures of them.  And Alexis is called both Alexis and Lexi (or will I spell it Lexie?).

Quick Pictures of Twins

Baby boy is on left and baby girl is on the right.

Baby boy is on the left (I am kissing him on the head).  Baby girl is on the right - her cute pink bow fell off.
Sorry it has taken me so long to post any pictures - it has been a long, but good day.  Here are a couple of pictures from today.  Hopefully tomorrow I will have a few minutes to put some more up.

They are HERE!!!!!

Real quick - the twins arrived this morning via c-section (girl was breech and boy was transverse).  We got to the hospital at 5 am and they were here about 2 hours later.  Here are their stats - I will post pictures a little later (after I rest some):

Baby Girl
born at 7:16 am
7 pounds 13 ounces

Baby Boy
born at 7:19 am
8 pounds

No, they do not have names yet but hopefully soon.  Everyone is doing great - babies seem to be healthy and everything went well!  We are just happy they are here!  We will get some pictures to post soon!

Less Than ONE Day Left & the Twins Room

The twin's room is all ready (and has been for a while - there are 2 blue walls and 2 pink walls).  Now, all we need is the twins (and pictures of them to replace old pictures and their names to put in and on the boxes on the wall).  And the twins will be here so soon now!  In less than 24 hours I will be in the hospital having the twins - one way or another (they will do an ultrasound at the hospital in the morning to see their positions and decide what to do).  But either way, the twins should be here TOMORROW!

***** Update on tomorrow *****
I am scheduled for a c-section at 7:30 a.m. and I am suppose to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m.  There is still a chance I will be induced but we won't know until early in the morning.

Basketball once again!

Here are some more basketball pages for Dallin and Matthew.  These are from back in February - April.  Today is their last day of this session of basketball but I don't have many pictures.  Anyway, here are my cute boys playing basketball!

FYI - only TWO days left!!!!!!!!!

Happy 6th Birthday Matthew! (a few days early)

Matthew's birthday really isn't until this Tuesday, but I was worried I would be in the hospital having the twins (which probably won't be happening) or that I would be way to exhausted and huge to do anything for him (very likely) - so we pretended that last Thursday was Matthew's birthday.

Normally, the boys have parties with a bunch of their friends but I just couldn't do it this year.  I felt bad so he did get to have 2 of his buddies over for a mini party - pizza, cupcakes, ice cream, and to play.  Matthew had a great time.  Then that night he got his favorite dinner, opened presents and had a Yoda cake (it really looked like Yoda late at night when I was making it).  Luckily, my boys all knew the cake was Yoda and Yoda's light saber.  All and all, I think he had a fun day!

FYI - only 5 days left until the twins are here!
So, if you haven't voted, vote.  (And for those who don't know how big my babies are normally, the smallest was 9 pounds and the biggest was just under 10 pounds).
Hopefully everyone will be well by the time the twins get here.  On Friday I had to take Brecken to the doctor.  His ear drum was ready to burst so he is getting drops in his ears (that already have tubes in them).  Then yesterday, I had to take Dallin to the doctor because his ear drum burst in the middle of the night.  So, Dallin is now on anti-biotics.  Oh, and Matthew woke-up this morning not feeling good.  We are a fun house!

37 Week Update

I am 37 weeks pregnant today!  Which means that in the next 7 days, the twins will be here.  I am scheduled for a c-section or induction
Friday, June 12 at 7:30 a.m.
And the way they were positioned today (both BREECH - heads up), it will be a c-section.

I wanted to show how much bigger I am at 37 weeks than I was at 40 weeks (plus a day) with some of my other babies, but I didn't have great pictures (no side views).  But, I still think you can tell I am a LOT bigger now.  The picture of me pregnant with Gavin was right before leaving for the hospital to have him.  The picture of me pregnant with Brecken was at the hospital getting ready to be induced to have Brecken (a day after my due date).

Campout - in the Basement

For Friday Night Daddy Night a couple of weeks ago, the boys were going to have a campout in the backyard in our camper.  However, it was pouring rain that night so the campout got moved into the basement.  The boys love sleeping in the camper but didn't seem to mind at all that their campout got moved inside.  Ed helped them make smores in the microwave (of course, healthy Ed ate broccoli instead) and then they set up their sleeping bags in the basement, popped popcorn, and watched the movie "Flushed Away" or as Gavin calls it, "Flush the Toilet".  They had a great time and now try most nights to get Ed to let them sleep in the basement (with Ed of course)!

FYI - don't forget to vote for the combined weight of the twins - they will be here in the next EIGHT days!
